Delicious, plump, orange carrot with dense, full-flavoured roots - great for heavy or shallow soil. Lovely eaten young, also a brilliant storage variety.

Cold tolerant, will hold well in reasonably-drained cool winter soils until needed. Sow in shallow drills from September to early April, friable soil, full sun. Keep moist until germinated, which can take up to 2 weeks. Thin seedlings to 3cm, space rows 10cm apart.
