              Broccoli and Other Love Stories
Would you like to learn more about the plants and seeds on offer here? About the garden they were raised in, their history, cultivation, uses in the kitchen and elsewhere, and how we came to fall in love with them?
This hardcover book contains 300 densely packed pages of recipes, gardening lore, botany and a kind-of philosophy, all beautifully illustrated with Luke Burgess’ photography.
Over the last two decades of gardening, eating, reading, talking and raising plants on a plot of land on Muwinina country, in southern Lutruwita/Tasmania, I have learned many things about edible plants and the multitude of gifts they offer us.
Divided into chapters of botanical families, so that you can get a feel for the links that tie plants together, I’ve explored almost every plant that has successfully grown in our cool-temperate garden.
